Rigby came to Penny Lane at nearly 7 weeks old. He was separated from his dam (mother) following a round-up on a reservation. He was very ill and malnourished when he arrived, and was immediately received veterinarian care and placed on antibiotics and a specialized feeding program.
Rigby is now flourishing at Penny Lane and getting plenty of love, attention, and foundation skills from our Horse Leaders. He stands for the farrier, grooming, and leads/transitions well at the walk and trot. Rigby is wearing a saddle, has been started on ground driving, and maneuvers a variety of trail obstacles with ease. He is a confident, willing, and very social 10 month old. While Rigby may remain on the smaller side and still needs time to mature, he will eventually make a great therapy horse, trail horse, companion, or cart horse. Additionally, he is gelded and UTD on vaccinations and de-worming. Rigby is available for adoption. Please contact us if you are interested in starting the adoption process!
